Praise be to Allah, the Lord of All. Salawat and Salam for the great Prophet Muhammad S.A.W who conveyed the message of faith and Islam to all of us, the companions, the scholars, and all Muslims especially the people of Kedah Darul Aman.
It is my hope as the Chairman of the Company to see State Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) continue to grow and be competitive in the global marketplace.
We need to realize that the goal of establishing a GLC company is not merely a company that purely pursues profits, but as an agent of the government in the execution and conduct of State government policies. At the same time, the aspiration to create Bumiputera entrepreneurs should be enhanced, as well as creating greater business opportunities for the people in Kedah. Healthy competition among GLCs and private companies should be taken into account in order to ensure business continuity in the future.
